Focus:
Originally a schoolteacher, I have been in the accounting field for 25 years; self-employed in bookkeeping for over 9 years. My experience was predominantly in the construction field in earlier years. Currently I have a very diversified group of small business and personal finance clients. I have worked with several different kinds of software, but find that these days my work is almost exclusively in Quickbooks/Quickbooks Pro. I have worked closely with an enrolled agent for many years preparing his clients for tax preparation or audit.
